Community is a cozy neighborhood restaurant with a distinctive East Side charm, nestled in the vibrant Los Feliz area of Los Angeles. Our collaboration began with the launch of a Pinot Noir—a dense, elegant, and age-worthy red wine. The challenge was to combine elegance and quality with the fresh, hip vibe of the location.
Drawing on my expertise in illustration and design, I created a surreal and evocative image for the wine. A key element, the cloud motif, was developed into a versatile pattern, used across packaging and marketing collateral to create a cohesive brand experience.
The project expanded to include the creation of several original art pieces for the restaurant’s interior, weaving the design into a larger, cohesive story that reflects the restaurant's unique personality.
The space looks and feels like someone’s cozy dining room – a place where one can enjoy the comforts of visiting a friend’s home.
The dining room embodies a charming Brooklyn-esque charm, with about 25 communal seats. Community is a dedication to belonging and being part of the neighborhood you live in – to creating a place where we’d like to enjoy with friends.
